QTPD Grant of $244K, Aastrom Biosciences (ASTM)

ASTM has been awarded 1 grant totaling  $244K under the QTDP program. 

QTDP program was part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.  

  • The QTDP was created by Congress to support investment in qualified biomedical projects that “show potential to develop new therapies, address unmet medical needs, and reduce the long-term growth of healthcare costs;
  • ASTM elected to receive a cash grant in lieu of a tax credit in Q2/11.
