Ticker Symbol Change and Extension of Warrant Expiration Date, BioTime (Amex: BTIM)

BTIM will change its stock ticker symbol on the NYSE Amex and is extending the expiration date of its common share purchase warrants that expire on 10/31/10.

  • BioTime commencing 11/2/10, the trading symbol of its common shares on the NYSE Amex will change from BTIM to BTX;
  • Because 10/31 is a Sunday, BioTime is extending the warrant expiration date and time until 5 pm EST on Monday, 11/1/10;
  • Trading of the warrants on the NYSE Amex will continue through 10/29/10.

BioTime will permit exercises of the warrants to be accepted by the warrant agent through a notice of guaranteed delivery from a bank, a trust company, or a New York Stock Exchange member guaranteeing delivery of a properly completed and executed warrant certificate.  

  • Warrant holders who choose to exercise their warrants through a notice of guaranteed delivery must pay the exercise price of their warrants and must deliver the notice of guaranteed delivery to the warrant agent.
